Michaela was a founding member of this collective of indigenous women writers and allies from Aotearoa and so-called Australia. She has since stepped away from the project, and in 2023 two of the five founding members are taking Taraheke in a new direction. Taraheke publishes collectively to protect story sovereignty. www.taraheke.com

What if Climate Change was Purple? is a collaborative project organised by the climate action group Track Zero, running from August 2019 to May 2021. The project brings together both established and emerging artists & scientists to create artworks that inspire climate action.
